Thomasville -- Narcotics officers make a significant drug bust Wednesday night when they arrested 27-year-old Demetrius Brooks.

Undercover agents have been looking into Brooks for several years.  They say he's one of the largest drug dealers in Thomas County.

"We've been getting information on him for a long time of selling illegal narcotics in Thomasville, Thomas County," said Commander Kevin Lee, of the Thomasville Police department's  Narcotics-Vice Division. "The last month we've done an intensive investigation on him.  We were able to purchase ecstasy, marijuana, and crack cocaine on more than one occasion."

Agents arrested Brooks at his home on Wright street.  They seized two cars they believe he used in drug deals, and two handguns found inside one of the cars.

Brooks faces three felony charges for selling marijuana, ecstasy and cocaine.
