Lee County-  It's a good thing mail delivery has been halted for the holidays because vandals in Lee County delivered nothing but problems for more than 20 neighbors in the Callaway Lakes neighborhood.

Mailboxes lay in the drainage ditch and alongside Martindale Drive after vandals ran over more than 20 mailboxes Wednesday night. Roy Staines spent Tuesday trying to put his mailbox back together, a little stronger than before.

"We were the 19-th caller since one o'clock that morning and I don't know how many called after that, but there have been several people that have stopped by and said that, they got ours too. So, I guess it was just kids riding around having a joyful time while they were out of school," said Roy Staines, Victim.

Putting up a new mailbox wasn't cheap.  Staines said the new mailbox cost him just under 100 dollars and that didn't include the labor.
