Albany - - If you plan to drink at an Albany establishment selling alcohol New Year's Eve, you might want to make sure it has permission from the city to sell drinks.

Only restaurants with over 50 percent of its sales coming from food can sell alcohol Sunday night. Hotels are also allowed to sell alcohol on New Year's Eve. T

The city is allowing those businesses to sell alcohol until 2:55 a.m. instead of midnight.

Charlie B's Bar has to be closed on Sundays. Workers there say they will remain closed New Year's Eve.

The CrowBar Grill, which is normally closed on Sundays, is advertising a New Year's Eve party Sunday night.
