The Worth County girls basketball team defeated Dooly County 59-28 to win the Ronalda Pierce Classic in Ashburn Friday night.
Logan Youngblood, Shonterria Walker, and Tia Lewis were named to the all-tournament team.
Lewis is the tourmament MVP.
The Turner County Rebels defeat Worth County 74-52 to win the boys championship.
The Dougherty girls topBoyd Anderson 57-56 in the first-ever Colquitt County Roundball Classic.
The Albany girls fall 69-48 against Washington County.
The Sherwood Christian girls top Mount de Sales 40-32 in the FPD tournament.
The Lady Eagles won all three of their tournament games.
The Deerfield-Windsor Girls beat North Cobb Christian 48-24, while the Knights fall 74-54.
Lee County tops Taliaferro County 76-54 in the Sweet South Classic in Madison.
Elliott Pittman pacing the Trojans with 23 points.
At the college level Albany State falls to Florida Tech 79-40.
The Lady Rams record is now 4-4.
