Albany -- Car dealers in south Georgia are promoting post-Christmas and end of the year deals to make room for a new batch 07s.
Ford Town of Albany expects the next few days to be busy. They're offering big rebates and special interest rates on the 06's left on the lot. Salespeople say the end of the year is the best time to purchase a car.
"We've been real busy, especially this week. The week between Christmas and New Year's is always good for us and I guess it's because a lot of people are off. They take an extended holiday during that period. Our traffic's been tremendous," said Ford Town General Manager Bob Beard.
Salesmen say rebates on 06 models may be up to $6,000.
