Ashburn - - A video gambling machine raid in Ashburn Wednesday night proves successful.
Police seized 28 machines at six different stores. Police say some customers were using their welfare checks to gamble on the machines.
"This was something that was just taking their money and is a violation of the law. This is the first successful operation. This is not the first time we've tried something like this but it's been the first successful operation that we've had," says Chief Ben Sumner.
The store owners have not been arrested and police wont say if they will be.
