Havelock, North Carolina -- A young Albany Marine is missing from a Marine Base in North Carolina.
Twenty-one-year old David McCarty disappeared from Cherry Point Marine Base December 17th. McCarty hasn't reported for duty with the base's Crash Fire Rescue team and his car and personal possessions were left behind.
His parents live here in Albany and are asking anyone with information to call police in Havelock, North Carolina at (252) 447-3212.
