What goes up must come down!

December 26, 2006

Albany--  What goes up must come down and many of you are preparing to take down your Christmas decorations. You probably don't have as much work as Tom Duncan.

For 20 years, he has wowed people passing by his home at the corner of Whispering Pines and Murray Hill Lane. This year, it took him about 6 weeks to get everything just right. Duncan did all of the work in the yard from his wheelchair.

He says the hard work is worth it, especially to see the look in the children's eyes. However, he's not looking forward to taking it all down.

"Well it's not nearly as fun taking them down as it is putting them up but we'll get it down in a day," said Duncan.

Many people slow down to get a glimpse of the Duncan's home as they pass. They plan to start taking the decorations down this weekend.
