Albany -- Last minute shoppers are out in Albany crowding stores for the last full shopping day before Christmas. Those who came to the mall saw long lines and many fellow shoppers making a quick stop for gifts.

Retailers say they stay the busiest on the weekend before Christmas. Shoppers say it's not such a bad thing battling all the crowds.

"It's the crowded shoe stores and I have all boys and trying to get the sneakers that they want and sebagos, and usually sizes are out that you need, but I'm having a good time," said Peggy Chester.

Many people are using other alternatives for last minute shopping, up to 14 million Americans are expected to shop online for gifts this year.
