Albany -- Georgia State troopers are investigating a fatal car crash in Lee County. It happened just before 10 p.m. Friday night.

One vehicle ran off of Pinewood Road near US Highway 19 just north of Leesburg and flipped into a field. The driver apparently was ejected and died at the scene. No one else was in the car, and no other cars were involved in the wreck.
