Albany-- There's just a little while left until Christmas and some still haven't finished holiday shopping.
Friday was a busy day at the Albany Mall. People came early to beat the rush.
Department stores have extended their hours to accommodate the extra people wrapping up their final purchases. Some shoppers say this is nothing new to them.
"I don't know I procrastinate all the time. I'm telling you. It's just one of those things you know. I like the rush. Did you find what you needed it? I sure did, yeah we did," says Velma Coley.
The Albany Mall is open until 10 Friday night. Saturday, it opens at 8 instead of 9. Sunday hours are 8 to 6.
