We need to clarify an issue from a story we told you about last week. In a story regarding the validity of a recall of Jo Ealum, we said her attorney, Jody Weathers, made mention that people who signed the recall petition may have broken the law for making false statements about Ealum.

For clarification, he was specifically referring to page two signers, the circulator and the petition chairperson, who signed an affidavit swearing the information found in the petition was true.

Weathers did not say that everyone who signed the petition broke the law, only those who signed the second page.
