Valdosta - A South Georgia Fire Department has received so much since 9/11, and now they've found a way to say thanks.
The Valdosta Fire Department has invited over 200 pastors from local churches to have breakfast made and served by the department's finest.
They expect over 100 to attend the breakfast tomorrow morning and have the opportunity to learn about the department.
They say the pastors are a huge reason for all the community support. "The Fire Department has been tremendously blessed with the support we get from the folks in our community and the churches in particular are always doing things for the fire department so we want to give something back," says Valdosta Fire Chief J. D. Rice.
If the breakfast tomorrow is successful, the department will make it an annual event.
