Washington -- Georgia's senior senator will retain his seats on the Agriculture, Intelligence and Armed Services committees.
Senator Saxby Chambliss, who had served as chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee when the Republican Party was in the majority, will now serve as the ranking minority party member on the committee.
He will still sit on the Senate's Intelligence and Armed Services committees where he has served since 2003.
