Albany - Albany State guard La'Toya Coard hit six three-point baskets and the Valdosta State women couldn't buy a basket in the Lady Rams 49-32 win over the Lady Blazers.

It is the first Albany State win in this series since November 2001.

Coard finished with 20 points for the Lady Rams (2-3).

Carley Peterson was Valdosta State's top scorer with 8 points.

The Lady Blazers (6-2) shot just 26% from the field.
