VSU's Reynolds earns all-American honors - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

Valdosta - Valdosta State safety Sherard Reynolds has been named to the Daktronics All-American football team.

The sophomore from Moultrie earned  second team honors after recording 70 tackles and intercepting three passes in his first season at free safety.

Reynolds played wide receiver last year.

He was an all-Gulf South Conference performer at two positions this season and set a VSU single season record for punt returns.
