Valdosta - Lt. Governor Elect Casey Cagle is touring the state today to say thanks to Georgians for electing him into office.
He stopped in Valdosta this afternoon to speak with Mayor John Fretti and community leaders on his plans for January.
He also met with voters to hear their comments and concerns. "It's our ability to get around the community and listen to the needs and begin to try going into January to work on the issues that are really important to Georgia citizens," Cagle says.
Among issues he discussed were affordable health insurance and a new retirement plan.
