Albany-  Phoebe Putney Hospital will build a new 10 million dollar building to house its data. The new building will be built on the site of the old Byne Church parking lot on North Jefferson Street.

It'll give Phoebe four times the space they have now to store records.

"We'll have three layers of security, it will be rated for hurricane, high winds rain, it will have various levels of electronic security so it's designed to protect that data which is protected health information and essential to the delivery of care to our patients," said Jesse Diaz Chief Information Officer V.P.

Phoebe will break ground on the new two story building the first of the year. It'll be built at the corner of North Jackson and West Society.
