Albany - After our investigation revealed Sunday alcohol sales aren't policed, the city made changes.
License holders will have to fill out renewal forms and provide certified gross receipts for food and for alcohol sales. In order to sell alcohol on Sunday, license holders must prove that 50% of their money comes from the sale of food. Hotels must prove half of their money comes from room rentals.
The change goes into effect immediately. Commissioners renewed all the alcohol licenses today, but they are subject to the new rules.
