Albany - A man arrested for robbing an Albany bank on Monday still has not been charged for a similar crime that took place more two weeks ago. 26-year old Kelvin Leroy was run down by Dougherty County Sheriff's Deputies and Albany Police Monday morning as he drove away from Security Bank on East Ogelthorpe.
He was captured on Library Lane still wearing a mask, with a gun, and a backpack filled with the bank's money. Police say Leroy was driving a Blue Dodge Neon he carjacked from Hidden Oaks Apartments.
He's also a suspect in another bank robbery and carjacking from that same complex on November 20th, but police have not charged him for that crime.
