The road to the state football title in AA runs through Charlton County.
The Indians are two wins away from a third straight state title.
The Early County Bobcats are hoping to end Charlton's title run Saturday in the Georgia Dome.
These two teams met in the first round of the state playoffs last year in Folkston where the Indians won convincingly 47-14.
That game was when Early County was in the early stages of implementing their spread offense to utilize the amazing talents of quarterback Emmanuel Taylor.
The installation is complete as evident by the fact the Bobcats are among the highest scoring teams still left in the state playoffs.
And Early County hopes Charlton notices the improvement in the form of a Bobcat win under the Dome.
Trey Woolf said "We had gone to some of it towards the end of the year and moved the ball well against them Now, they are better defensively than they were last year and obviously they are as good if not better offensively."
Early County faces a Charlton County team that has won 22 straight games and two consecutive state titles Saturday at 3:00P.M. at the Georgia Dome.
The winner plays Dublin next week for the AA state championship.
