Dawson - Terrell Academy senior Courtney Spillman scored 26 points in the Lady Eagles 72-57 win over Randolph-Southern Tuesday.
The game was closer than the scored indicated with the Lady Patriots down just three points in the middle of the third quarter.
Samantha Warthy led Randolph-Southern with 28 points.
Randolph-Southern won the boys game 68-53.
In other games, Worth County boys beat Lee County 70-58, Worth County girls win 68-27, Albany High boys win in overtime 69-65 at Cook.
Randolph-Clay sweeps Chatthoochee County 92-38 in the boys game and 92-14 in the girls game.
In the GISA, Deerfield-Windsor boys beat Citizens Christian 79-42, Lady Knights win 52-47, Southwest Georgia boys win 38-29 over Sherwood Christian and the Lady Eagles win the girls game 36-19 over the Lady Warriors.
In Valdosta, Valwood boys win their season opener 70-43 and the Lady Valiants fall to 0-2 after a 43-26 loss to Frederica girls.
