Lee County -- Two women were killed this morning in a head-on crash on Highway 19 in Lee County.

A man, woman and child were headed south on 19 in a Buick regal when their car crossed the center line and hit this Nissan Maxima head on.

The female passenger in the Buick was killed, as was the female driver of the Nissan.

The man and child in the Buick were rushed to a hospital, as was a child in the Nissan.

Morning traffic was backed up on busy Highway 19 as emergency crews worked the wreck.

The crash happened just south of Forrester Parkway on Highway 19.  State troopers say neither the man nor the woman in the Buick was wearing a seat belt.
