Americus- Former Sherwood Christian guard Ross Knight had a great night in Georgia Southwestern's 100-72 win over Carver Bible College.

Knight hit eight three-point baskets and finished with a game high 29 points for the Hurricanes.

Georgia Southwestern as expected got off to a somewhat slow start against the Cougars after their dramatic one point the previous night in their season opener at Albany State.

Georgia Southwestern plays West Alabama Friday afternoon in Valdosta State's PAB Classic.
