Valdosta - You many not know it, but many important government documents are stored at a south Georgia university.
Valdosta State celebrated its 50-year partnership with the U-S Federal Depository Library Program.
Since 1956, the VSU Library has safeguarded and preserved government documents and guaranteed access to anyone who needs the information. "The knowledge is at our fingertips here in South Georgia that we can utilize for health care, environmental questions, population questions. Anything that the government is up to, we can find out about," said Congressman Jack Kingston.
The depository library at Valdosta State University is only one of 24 in the state.
