Albany -- An Albany man is recovering from head injuries, after his bicycle collided with a car Tuesday night.

42 year old David Mason is listed in good condition at an Albany hospital, after he suffered serious head trauma in the crash.

It happened about 6:30 at the intersection of Pearce Avenue and South Mock Road. Police say Mason was on the wrong side of the road when he crashed into the front of Janet Fliggins Mazda. Mason flew into the windshield, shattering it.

Fliggins said she never saw the bicyclist in the dark, until the collision. She and her daughter were shook up, but not injured in the crash.

Police say Fliggins will not be charged.
