Albany -- Darton College's finest student performers celebrated the arts Tuesday morning, as a large crowd enjoyed Darton's Fall Convocation.
This was the first time the school's new dance majors took part in the performance. The College's Choir, Jazz Combo, Drama Players, and solo musicians all performed for the audience.
Darton College Art's Department teachers say they are proud of their talented students, and want to give them a chance to share that talent with the community.
Darton Theatre Director Dr. Jack Carroll said, "That's one reason we wanted to do this. To kind of affirm to people the arts are thriving, and we are doing really well."
The Darton College Art Department also produced a slide show for the Fall Convocation.
