Albany -- The FBI is offering a five thousand dollar reward in Monday's bank robbery in East Albany.

They are looking for the man who held up Regions Bank on Sylvester Road. He's black, 5'8", 160 pounds and was wearing a green shirt and dark pants. He was wearing a knit cap over his face and a hood pulled over his head.

The man went from window to window to at the bank, robbing tellers of their cash. When he ran out of the bank, the FBI says the robber attempted to grab the purse of a customer walking into the bank.

Shirley Griffith struggled with the robber, and was hit in the face. Griffith was taken to the hospital for treatment, but her daughter said she was OK.
