Valdosta - Thanksgiving came a few days early for some people in Valdosta.
The Valdosta Food Bank handed out boxes of holiday favorites to senior citizens.
The boxes included winter vegetables, potatoes, breads, fruits and milk to assure each citizen had a well rounded meal this Thanksgiving.
They are expecting to serve nearly two thousand people this year. "It's just great for the holiday season that the senior citizens are given boxes of food and different things that they'd be able to share this Thanksgiving," says Madine Camon, a Ray City resident.
