Thomas County-  An Albany man faces charges for stealing more than $11,000 from his Thomas County employer. 

Michael Thomas was arrested at his Albany home and charged with forgery and felony theft by taking. Thomas was working as a foreman at Waverly Products and is accused of forging time sheets using previous employees' social security numbers.

Investigators say, Thomas deposited $11,413.19 in his personal account before Waverly managers caught on.  Both the Georgia Bureau of Investigations and Thomas County Sheriff's Office investigated the fraud.
