Albany - Albany's new baseball team got a nickname last week.
And now they have their first two players.
The South Coast League held its first ever player draft after a tryout last weekend in Bradenton, Florida.
16 players were selected by the six teams based on need and not all teams got the same number of players.
The South Georgia Peanuts drafted two players.
Outfielder Travis Hundley who played at Ferrum College and left handed pitcher Jake Ociesa who played at Murray State.
Anderson, South Carolina chose outfielder Jared Williams from Wagner University with the first overall pick.
The South Coast League's inaugural season is scheduled to start in May of next year.
