Sylvester - The Worth County girls basketball team is shooting for a three-peat this season in Region 1-AAA.
Two reasons why the Lady Rams are gunning for a third straight region title are seniors Tia Lewis and Logan Youngblood.
The talented duo making their college plans official before they start the final season of high school basketball.
Forward Tia Lewis signed college scholarship to play at East Tennessee State.
And Logan Youngblood is heading to Statesboro to play at Georgia Southern.
The Lady Eagles had an edge in recruiting Logan in older sister Taylor who is a redshirt freshman this year for the Georgia Southern women.
Logan Youngblood said "She was kind of edging me along, you know, 'Logan, are you interested here, or what?' and I've always told her I was interested. I just felt like Georgia Southern would be the place for me."
Tia Lewis said "East Tennessee State University offered more. They worked harder, and showed more interest. I liked the campus, the people and the environment."
Worth County opens up the season in two weeks at Colquitt County.
