Albany -- A local church holds a patriotic presentation this morning for Veteran's Day weekend.

Amazing Grace Baptist Church on Ledo Road started with a presentation of the flags from all five branches of the military along with the American and Christian flags. There was a member from the Army, Marines, Coast Guard, Navy, and Air Force holding their branch's flag.

Pastor Ron Baxley is a firm believer in patriotism and the service veteran's give to this country.

"Patriotism to me is one of the most important things outside of being Christian and I thank God I can be Christian, but that I can be a patriotic person," said Ron Baxley.

"We have such tremendous freedom through Jesus Christ eternally, freedom from sings, and we have such tremendous freedom here in this life, through the service and sacrifice of our veterans," said Bryan Haynes.

Today was a "Day of Thanksgiving" at the Amazing Grace Baptist, and they celebrated with the flag ceremony and lunch.
