Valdosta - Less than two months after filing for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code, the owner of Adventure Parks Group is announcing his plans for 2007.
Kent Buescher uncovered the new adventures today for Wild Adventures theme park in Valdosta. He unveiled the plans to build all new concert amphitheater.
The amphitheater, which is slated to open in early spring, will be the largest outdoor concert venue south of Atlanta and north of Tampa, Florida. He also unveiled a large lineup of concerts including Brooks and Dunn, Sara Evans, and the Steve Miller Band.,
He says his plans come straight from the ideas of park goers. "Based on our feedback we've gotten and exit interviews at the parks we've made the decision that the one thing we could provide our guests that would improve their overall experience at Wild Adventures was a new venue that would really allow them to enjoy the shows we bring in," Buescher says.
Passports for 2007 have also gone on sale. The passports include park admission for a year and free parking.
