Albany --  We told you about several car lot break ins in Downtown Albany, Friday.  There were a couple of more attempts to break into two used car lot dealerships on West Ogelthorpe Boulevard Friday night, but alarm systems ran the thieves off.

Late Friday night, someone cut the power from the power boxes behind the offices at Fresh Start Auto Sales and Landmark Auto Sales.  Both are within blocks of the two other used car lots that were broken into last week.

But both Landmark and Fresh Start have back up power, so when someone broke windows at both lots, the alarm sounded.

Like the others, the dealers say they are sure the thieves are young kids.

Many of the used car dealers in Downtown Albany told us today they spent the weekend staking out their business, watching for the thieves to come back.  And they plan to continue guarding their businesses at night.
