Albany - Strong, smart and bold. That's what Girls Incorporated leaders want the girls in the program to become.
Staff members from across the Southeast are in Albany attending workshops and learning new programs to help empower girls. Joyce Roche', President of Girls Inc. said, "It does give an incredible amount of support for girls here. It ensures that they grow up to be strong, smart and bold women."
Albany Executive Director, LaKisha Bryant said, "They've chosen to come to add to the economic impact of our city, but to learn more about what we can do to inspire girls so we're very excited to host this conference."
