Albany- The Albany High Indians have two weeks to prepare for the Early County Bobcats who had only three days to get ready for a Thursday night region 1-AA battle.
And it showed.
Albany High scored a touchdown on a halfpack pass from David McDonald to quarterback Barry Diamond in the first quarter that tied the game 7-7.
But it was all Early County after that.
Quarterback Emmanuel Taylor threw a screen pass to James Summerset who ran it 36 yards for a touchdown and running back Jarvis Tinson's nine yard run upped the lead to 21-7.
Early County would run away from Albany High by the final score of 44-13.
