Berrien Sheriff participates in Operation Falcon III

November 2, 2006

Nashville - The Berrien County Sheriffs Office also participated in Operation Falcon Three.

They worked closely with US Marshals and deputies from Tift, Colquitt and Dougherty counties to arrest dangerous criminals and sex offenders.

Deputies from Berrien County primarily worked in other counties during the operation... but they did arrest four suspects on minor drug charges.

Sheriff Jerry Brogdon says although the operation ended last week... they will continue the efforts initiated by the program.  "It's an on-going thing. It didn't quit on the 28th. There are others out there that we haven't found but will be included in the final numbers once we get them arrested."

This was the third time Berrien County participated in the program.  They hope to be a part of Operation Falcon Four.
