Bainbridge-  With a land deal in place, south Georgia's first bio-diesel production plant should be producing fuel by March.  Bainbridge business owners and residents got a lesson in bio-diesel production Thursday morning from Inland representatives.

The Bainbridge plant will use soybean oil to produce the bio-diesel, which will be available at area Inland stations. The plant will work two shifts a day and the company is ready to begin construction any day now.

"I think we have everything in line all of our equipment's ordered, all of our contractors are on standby, now that we can pull the trigger it should be any day now," said Joe Campbell, Southwest Georgia Oil Company.

Decatur County grows 372 acres of soybeans annually, this plant could use up the entire crop during just one day of production.
