Albany - A new coach plus a new look equals a new attitude for the South Georgia Wildcats.
Wildcat fans are hoping that new attitude means more wins in the 2007 Arena 2 Football season.
Wildcats fans got the chance to meet the new head coach Derek Stingley at a reception Tuesday night.
Stingley told the fans that the team has already started signing players for next year.
Among those signees is former Albany State star Andre Slappey who played for Stingley in Macon.
And the Wildcats have made a contract offer to quarterback Julian Reese.
The new coach is also ready to start talking to other players when the free agency signing period starts next month.
And the fans hope these players will turn the Wildcats back into winners.
Derek Stingley said "They want wins. I am quite sure they don't want an average team. That want a team that can compete and be respected throughout the league."
Derek Stingley says he is planning to have a tryout here in Albany in December.
