Albany - It's Homecoming weekend for Albany State University and that means lots of visitors and lots of money for Albany.
Last year's homecoming funneled mpre than two million dollars into the Albany economy.
At today's convocation ceremony, Carolyn Glenn, the owner of the state's largest African American newspaper, stressed the importance of student achievement.
"You have to fight for what you need to get. And you can get there if you work hard at it, " said Glenn.
Glenn is donating $10,000 to ASU.
