Ocilla - Irwin County running back Terry Ashley is this week's Orthopaedic Associates high school football player of the week.
Physical therapist Tim Gaint presented Ashley with his plaque.
The junior running back almost set the school single game rushing record with 315 yards in last week's win over Wilcox County.
Ashley not only scored four touchdowns on the ground.
He also threw a 83-yard touchdown pass.
Terry Ashley said "My coach sent me to quarterback camp. So, I know how to throw. It was third down and we had to make a big play. I seen Mitchell wide open. So, I threw it. It was supposed to be a quarterback sweep for me."
On defense, Terry Ashley had six tackles and set up the Indians first touchdown with an interception.
Irwin County faces a big road game Friday night at Hawkinsville.
