Undated--Ford is recalling 145,000 vehicles for safety reasons.   The recall involves the 2005 Ford Five Hundred and Montego sedans as well as  the 2005-06 model Freestyle minivans.

Those vehicles have defective side latches which could cause doors to open in
freezing weather.  Ford is also recalling the 2006 model year Escape Hybrid SUVS.

Their drive train shaft may fracture and cause the vehicle to move, even when parked. You can return the recalled vehicles to the dealer for repairs.
