Undated--Black and Decker is recalling 272,000 Blower/Vacs. The Black and Decker BV4000 type one Blower/Vac is being recalled because a loose connection between the motor and an extension cord can cause it to over heat and catch fire.
So far, 187 units have over heated causing some minor burns to the users. The units were sold at discount, home improvement, and hardware stores for 70 dollars between April 2004 and July 2005.
