Decatur County-  Decatur County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 18 people and seized $5,300 in suspected drug money during traffic stops this weekend.

Deputies seized small amounts of cocaine, marijuana, and ecstasy and the cash during two safety road blocks on Highway 84 near the Grady County line and Highway 27 near the Florida line. Students Against Drunk Driving from Bainbridge High school helped officers keep up with the stats.

"They're impressionable and we get to show them what we do, how it impacts the community and they take it back to school with them for the younger set that may be vulnerable, they get to see what happens," said Cecilia Willis, Decatur Co. Sheriff's Office.

Seven Hundred and seventy five vehicles were stopped.  Two people were arrested for Driving Under the influence and two were arrested for open container violations.
