Albany -- Albany State didn't need a special teams score against Miles College, as the Rams win 14-0.
ASU scoring on a blocked punt the past two games.
This week quarterback Kisan Flakes came on in the second quarter and threw touchdowns passes to Gary Nevins and Joshua Johnson.
Flakes finished 3-3 for 118 yards and the two scores.
The Golden Rams defense held Miles to 50 yards rushing on 30 carries; 1.7 an attempt.
Punter Randy Allen was very busy for ASU, with 7 kicks for 279 yards.
Rod Cummings had 4 tackles for a loss to lead the Rams defense.
Albany State is now 4-0 in the SIAC, and host Clark Atlanta next week at 2pm.
