Albany -- Nine students have been sent home by Turner Job Corps after a campus melee. And more may be disciplined.

A fire was set in a dorm and fights broke out all over the campus Monday night. Police, Fire and EMS were called to the East Albany center.

A Turner Job Corps spokesperson said  they were taking disciplinary action against "several" students, but did not know how many.

Some parents pulled their children out of the Center because of the night of violence.

Students even threw rocks and padlocks at our photographer covering the fights.

Turner Job Corps has increased the number of safety officers on the campus to prevent any more problems, and Albany Firefighters will give staff and students fire safety courses.
