Albany -- The Deerfield and Southland football teams have been squaring off in the last game of the regular season for the past few years.
That changes this season, as the Knights and Raiders will face off in Albany Saturday night.
While taking on a big rival is never an easy task, you probably won't find Deerfield head coach Allen Lowe complaining too much.
After all, this will be the first home game his team has had in about a month.
"I've never had that many road games in a row, much less games that were so far away," says Lowe. "It's been a new test for us, and it's just very tiring."
Deerfield hosts Southland Friday at 7:30 pm.
