Legislative Listening Sessions held throughout State

October 2, 2006

Albany - Want your legislators to know what changes need to be made? Let them know. That's what members of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce are doing at legislative listening sessions throughout the state.

On Monday they stopped in Albany to meet with Chamber members. They review bills that passed or were defeated last year and suggest changes they would like.   Brandon Reese says, "Get together in a real informal atmosphere and sort of get on the same page to see what we need to do to help further the business community."

About 30 listening sessions will be held around the state, including Thomasville, Moultrie and Valdosta.
