Train and semi-truck collide

Valdosta -- The lowboy trailer of a semi-truck caught in a railroad crossing causes a collision with a freight train.

A Norfolk Southern freight train slammed into the semi in the 400 block of Oak Street in Valdosta.

It happened around 9:40 Saturday morning.

The driver of the truck was three-quarters of the way over the tracks when the truck got stuck.

Neither the truck driver or train conducter was injured in the wreck.
